Hello, Beautiful!
My name is Shelley and I show women how to create more by doing less so that your business and personal life thrive without having to sacrifice your well being.
I’ve been right where you are. Exhausted to the point that the phrase “Self-Care” sounded like just one more thing on my to-do list. Are you kidding? Who has time for that when I’m so tired I can’t even find my spark.
Being an empowered woman and running your own business is exhilarating. This is what our moms wanted for us. But why do we feel burned out and unfulfilled?
Jet Setting to Burn Out
I was running a successful business in the international fashion industry creating thousands of jobs. Friends called me the jet-setter and told me they wanted their daughters to be like me. It was what I always wanted to do. Or was it? That was just a part of me. Balancing work, my health, love, family, my dog, friends, owning a home and fun just wasn’t working out like I thought it would.
After laying awake for 4 nights straight over a decade ago I got scared. I’d burned myself out to the point of insomnia. I cried looking at the clock watching the hours tick away until I had to get up and start my day. I had hit empty. Pushing myself to just get shit done would work but then I’d collapse in a heap.
Finding My Way To Flow
I found my way back to being well-rested, full of energy and reconnected to my passion and purpose. This isn’t the kind of energy we find in caffeine. That’s the wired to tired feeling that just makes thing worse. I’m talking about tapping into an abundant energy source that fuels me whenever I need it. This kind of energy feels even and steady. And it makes taking care of ourselves and finding balance finally flow.
You probably already know some of the things that would help you, but you don’t have time for it all.
“If I just get things done, then I’ll have more time. If I have more time, I’ll do all those things I need to feel better.”
But you don’t have the energy you used to have to move mountains, so the time never comes.
It’s a vicious cycle.
And then…
You have that moment…the come to Jesus moment. You wonder if you should just quit. Quit your business, your family, your relationship, everything and just run away. You might even feel like a failure behind closed doors. Maybe you stay in your pajamas for a few days and binge watch Outlander on Netflix. And you feel a little better. But you know something is missing.
There is a better way. But it might require going against the tide of traditional entrepreneurship or productivity and success rules.
How I Create More By Doing Less
Have you ever noticed that most (if not all) business and productivity systems were developed by and for men? Or if women are teaching them or using them…that they tend to lean more towards masculine energy?
We wouldn’t ask a man how birth a baby or walk in high heels. Of course not! We turn to women for their sage advice and support. It turns out that women have strengths that men don’t have or understand. These strengths are what empower us to create more by doing less.
When I discovered what I needed to do to balance my energy and stay energized…everything changed. No more getting burned out. Now I have a clear understanding of what to do to create big results without draining myself. I developed my own feminine productivity system based on what I learned and what works.
I love leading a community for women just like you to support each other in a new and better way to approach our business and life. Are you ready to have the sage advice and support of a community of Flowpreneurs? Click here to see if one of our group or private programs is right for you.
A Little More About Me:
When I’m not starting my day swimming in the warm, turquoise waters of the Sea of Cortez in Baja, I’m hiking under giant Redwoods in the San Francisco Bay Area with my big puppy, Theo. Being a digital nomad, running my coaching and media business, makes it possible to be places that fill my heart. Born in Texas and raised in Berkeley, California makes for some diverse life experiences. Add years living in Bali, Central Java, Peru and Mexico and I guess you can call me a global citizen who loves adventure.
I was once walked home by secret service agents (hello handsome men!) in New Orleans and lived next door to the President of Indonesia. NBC Sports thought I should be in their special on women in Triathlons because I was doing my first race to celebrate my 40th birthday with 20 friends. I’m the last person in my family I thought would make it into a “sports special” on tv. That’s what happens when you say YES! And then you say no, because it turns out I don’t love the energy of racing.
When I wanted to discover how to be more fulfilled with men I trained and became certified to teach about the differences between men and women. Men and woman are way more complex than my studies for my Bachelor of Science degree in Textile Science from the University of California at Davis. American Airlines awarded me life-time status during the jet set years, but I don’t miss traveling 70% of the time. I waked on fire with Tony Robbins and discovered that men don’t fully understand how women find their personal power. Feminine energy is magical and I treasure mine.
Time at home cooking up healthy food for friends and family makes me happy. These days it’s Keto or Paleo…gotta love the energy! Learning to embrace my own yoga practice is something I can do now that I have more time and energy in my life. My passion is to help women reconnect to their true feminine essence and flow of abundant life force energy.
I look forward to connecting!
